In its first ever ranking of the best women golf instructors, Golf Digest has named three Ladies Links Fore Golf teaching professionals among the “50 Best Women Teachers” in America. Ladies Links Fore Golf CEO Lynn Stellman, Vice President Debbie O’Connell and Director of Tournaments Teresa Zamboni were all voted by their LPGA and PGA peers as top 50 women instructors nationally. All three previously had been recognized among the LPGA’s “Top 50 Instructors” for 2008.
“This is a tremendous honor for us, and is a huge personal and professional achievement,” said Stellman. “We have each dedicated our entire careers to providing the kind of high quality golf instruction that empowers aspiring golfers with confidence and the technical skills to play well and enjoy the game. There is nothing more rewarding than being recognized by your peers because we have the greatest respect for each and every one of them.”
“This is a great tribute to all of us,” said O’Connell. “I’m truly honored to be on the same list as so many of my mentors. It is a privilege to share this game with golfers across the country and to see them gain greater enjoyment from improved play!”
“Women’s golf has become a huge force in the industry,” added Zamboni, “And this new recognition by Golf Digest is a testimony to all of the hard work that women golf instructors have been doing behind the scenes for decades. I congratulate all of those women who have helped to make this recognition possible.”
