I think Super Bowl Sunday should be an official holiday....and while I'm at it -- let's make our USA Golf Opens, the LPGA Championship, and the Masters all holidays too!

Big sporting events are really fun days for people.  The food is great, the beverages are cold and there are always great "feel good" stories about the players.  All of the players are there because they had a goal and had to work hard and sacrifice a lot to get to that big game, or final round to win. It takes years and years of practice, struggling through injuries, eating the right food, staying in shape and finally, the tears that often go along with disappointment or defeat.

I can remember when I had hopes of going to the big stage..the LPGA Tour.  One of my discs ruptured and my dream was over.  I would not give back one of those days of hope, sweat and tears.  Going for the big time was great fun for me and I'd like to congratulate all who make it to that final game or final round....GOOD FOR YOU!
